Books related to communication studies may be found in McFarlin Library's west wing.

Communication books (and books concerning journalism, broadcasting, mass media, etc.) have call numbers beginning with P. The letters and numbers that follow indicate the specific subject area. For example:

  • P87-96: Communication. Mass media
  • PN1900-1992: Broadcasting
  • PN4699-5650: Journalism. The periodical press, etc.
